Sire: J&B's Gus (Black/tan, his sire is black/tan and his dam is red/tan)
Dam: R/Bred Heel Nippin' Mikey (Black/tan, her sire is black/tan -- carries red and dilution gene and her dam is black/tan -- carries the red and dilution gene)
This is a red, without tan points, male.
Sire: Jambo Cleet (fawn, sire is fawn, dam is red/tan)
Dam: R/Bred Heel Nippin' Mikey (black/tan)
Cherry is a full sister to Dolci and Parker. She was whelped with facial markings like Dolci and as she aged, the dark red (or chocolate color) faded and she is considered to have "open-face" markings. Her eye color changes from green to amber. Her left eye is not blue, it is clouded (scar tissue) from an eye injury.
Parker is a full brother to Cherry and Dolci. Parker is a different shade of red. He is more of a sorrel shade. He has the "saddle" markings (or carries the saddle gene). With age, the dark will give way to a lighter tan or rust color and it will evenually appear that he has a darker colored patch on his back, called a "saddle". He is also an "open-face", meaning the dark color that is typically found on the face has faded. If a pup is going to be an open-face; they are borned with a dark face and around 5 months (some earlier, some later) of age the dark color starts to fade.
Sire: Doss-Tex Mr. T (Black/tan -- carries red and dilution gene)
Dam: Unreg. (Black/tan -- carries red and dilution gene)
This female is a lighter shade of red. She has blue eyes.
Just a closeup of Parker's head showing his "open-face" coloration. You can also see "banding" on his neck. Banding is where the hair shaft is a different color than the tip (not to be confused with a sable color). In the picture of the three pups; he is the one closest to the camera. The other two are Dolci and Cherry.
