Pedigree Profiles

These pedigree profiles are of some of the prominent ancestor sires of working cattle line Kelpies here in North America. Selections were not based on dog's actual working abilities, numbers of offspring or trial winnings. There are many dogs with exemplary trial records, proven working abilities, and have produced top-notch working offspring.

Please note that these dogs were selected for their dominance in the pedigrees of NAAKR registered Working Kelpies bred, proven and used in cattle operations.

An asterisk (*) denotes dog is imported from Australia. Dogs are listed in alphabetical order. The influences of these particular dogs start around the 1970's going into the 1990's. Only one of these dogs is alive today.
